Why do we create relationships with professors/counselors?
That's simple, because it's these professionals who know the students. Counselors are aware of students who are searching for placement in the IT world, they are the people that students turn to for help in finding a path into their careers. Professors are the people who know the student's work, how they perform in teams on projects and knows the student's strengths and talents (which is a lot more helpful in learning about a person's performance than just reviewing their GPA).

Why do professors/counselors recommend STS?
Here at STS we are committed to finding the right opportunity for each of our students. Students are happier when they know they are putting their education to good use, seeing their hard work and effort at learning pay off.

We don't just put a name in a hat and draw one at random when there is a job to do; we interview each student find out what they have done and what they are interested in doing and then align them with a company that is looking for the same talents.

We're not about filling up seats in an IT department; we're about building a bridge - one that benefits both the business and the student.
